The Hannover Messe definitely had the "Dutch Touch" this year. The catchphrase used by the Netherlands, this year's official partner country, captured the mood perfectly. With nine pavilions, more than 250 companies and more than 80 events, the representation of the Netherlands was met a lot of enthusiasm at the world's leading trade show for industrial technology.

Totems designed the central Dutch pavilion in Hall 3. On the total 3.000 sq.m. surface, a colorful community of 30 innovative Dutch companies and organisations presented themselves and 2 large stages housed an extensive program of lectures. The architecture was inspired on kites. The kite represents the entrepreneurial, innovative and creative Dutch spirit in a nutshell: a dynamic forward movement. And what's more: a typical Dutch tradition. The huge shapes served as eye-catchers and proved to be magnets for visitors at the fair. The reception was phenomenal.
