The interior of the pavilion referred to the architectural heritage of Algeria’s cities: the casbah. Visitors roamed through its streets, experiencing the Algeria of today through multimedia exhibits.
The paths led visitors up to the roof level of this city from where they could look out over the casbah. From here, Algeria unfolded in front of the visitor through a spectacular multimedia installation, projected onto the roofs of the casbah. After this, visitors were led into a final space where the architecture assumed the shape of the Algeria to come, in which various exhibits told the story about the country’s future.
