Title: Hunting Pirates

The Royal Navy in action around the Horn of Africa for the The Dutch Navy Museum. This exhibition focuses on the actions of the Royal Navy against the Somali piracy central. It gives insight into the background of contemporary piracy in the Horn of Africa and into the world of pirates and their victims. Visitors are introduced to the way the modern Royal Navy fights pirates.

The exhibition is divided into three parts: The story of the Royal Navy, the story of the Somali pirates and the confrontation between these two parties. In this way the exhibition gives an extremely clear and fascinating picture of the conflict.

The exhibition will be seen for about three years (2014) in The Dutch Navy Museum.
